How we tame Google Cloud assets with R2D2. We had some episodes on the cloud already. Now it’s time to debate how bol.com combines the guarantees of the cloud and their necessities for Reproducibility and Reliability. As an example, stability infinite assets and supreme autonomy with safety.
Inside bol.com we developed R2D2. R2D2 stands for our Reproducible Useful resource Deployment Definition instrument which mixes the features of Terraform, Cloud SDK and Puppet Labs.
It helps us to make sure Restoration, Safety, Self-service, Stability and Scalability in our transfer to the cloud.
The rationale we expect we have to safe these points: Bol.com has over 100 scrum groups innovating our IT-landscape with over 500 companies. We should safe our 10 million clients’ information and the info of our 23.000 sellers.
